Waste Shredders
Dual and Quad Shaft Shredders
- VERTISA dual-shaft or quad-shaft shredders are designed to shred all types of medical waste, including very hard materials such as surgical stainless steel instruments and hard ceramics.
The PLC-controlled shredder, thanks to its “anti-blockage” feature, changes its rotation direction and prevents the blades from jamming. - VERTISA shredders are powered by an electric power unit with a planetary gearbox. The thickness of the cutting discs ranges from 15.3 mm to 60 mm and can be adjusted according to the desired output size and types of waste. The output size can be adjusted with interchangeable screens.
- The Vertisa R&D department designs custom shredders for a wide range of applications in the waste industry. Special solutions are developed “in-house” for shredding all types of waste, including paper, cardboard packaging, cardboard tubes, hard disks, electronic devices, CDs and DVDs, industrial waste, hazardous waste, radioactive materials, organics, steel barrels, and more.
